It took less than a day for two craftsmen (one
was in training) to completely install the rebar for the pool. The
lengths are bent and cut in place, than tied tightly together with
steel wire. The steel ties are twisted around each joint with pliers
then cut with same, with amazing speed and accuracy. The separate
lengths of rebar, once tied, become a single web of steel which will
bind the shotcrete together. The final system of steel and concrete
will be a single entity so strong it could be lifted form the earth
as one piece without damage.
