Installing the coping was tedious and required cutting the custom concrete brick at odd angles to form the proper shape for the pond. Also, almost half of each brick had to hang over the edge of the opening to allow for the depth of the slate which would be installed later. The concrete base of the deck  required a bit of precision in that the depth of the custom concrete tiles had to be taken into account.
