Attached Casita and Courtyard design initial floor plans
Bev and Dan had a fairly detailed concept in mind and produced a sketch of their vision. I transferred their concept into a realistic floor plan (Option #1), and, additionally, offered several other options. Interestingly, the options I offered proposed a wider footprint at the front of the structure, which was, unbeknownst to me, their original approach prior to bringing me on board. A contractor they initially consulted steered them away from the idea as he felt it would be too difficult and expensive relative to the structure of the roof. I assured them that was not the case, and confirmed it to them with a sketch showing the roofline as would relate to the floor plan.
