Attached Casita and Courtyard design final floor plan studies
The final floor plan was based on Option #4 from the initial plan proposal. The sink placement allows for the possibility of breaking through the wall between the new casita and the existing guest bed room at a later time. The bath remains private and separate from the living area. The WC has added privacy with the addition of a sliding "barn door" with a glass panel. Natural light is allowed to pass through from the back wall in the WC all the way through to the closet. Glass in the main entry will be the final piece in providing for a very generous amount of natural light pouring into the casita. A small efficiency kitchen - mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker - is placed opposite the sink to allow for plumbing efficiencies.
